Danielle Terése, Hale Makai Designs
While attending Hofstra University, Danielle explored her creative passion by taking a variety of art and architecture courses. After college, she focused on a career in the financial industry in New York which spanned 30 years. During this time, she renovated her homes in New York, New England, and Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, and enjoyed the different design style and architecture each area presented.
In 2014, Danielle and her husband John decided to make Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida their primary location and built a home where they currently reside. Working closely with their architect, builder, developer and the trades, Danielle was urged to branch out and explore her passion for building design. Thus, Hale Makai Designs was born.
Hale Makai Designs (Hawaiian for “home by the sea” or “beach house”) provides elegant coastal design that exudes inspiration and pride in ownership. Working with developers and builders on the design function of home construction for spec and custom homes allows Danielle to showcase her creative design talent and knowledge of the building industry.
